CCPA / CPRA Privacy Notice

Effective Date: July 16, 2026

This Privacy Notice for California Residents supplements the information contained in our central Privacy Policy and applies solely to visitors, users, and others who reside in the State of California. ContentClik (Lead Flier Media) adopts this notice to comply with the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA).

1. Information We Collect

Our platform has collected the following categories of personal information from consumers within the last twelve (12) months:

  • Category A: Identifiers. (e.g., Name, alias, postal address, unique personal identifier, online identifier, Internet Protocol address, email address, account name).
  • Category B: Personal information categories listed in the California Customer Records statute. (e.g., Name, signature, address, telephone number, employment).
  • Category D: Commercial information. (e.g., Records of whitepapers downloaded, syndication services utilized).
  • Category F: Internet or other similar network activity. (e.g., Browsing history, search history, information on a consumer's interaction with our website).
  • Category I: Professional or employment-related information. (e.g., Current job title, employer, industry).

Note: We do not collect Sensitive Personal Information (SPI) such as social security numbers, racial origins, or biometric data.

2. Sale and Sharing of Personal Information

Under the CCPA/CPRA, the transfer of lead data to a content sponsor in exchange for access to gated content constitutes a "Sale" or "Sharing" of personal information.

In the preceding twelve (12) months, ContentClik has "sold" or "shared" Categories A, B, and I (Identifiers and Professional Information) to our B2B Content Sponsors (the brands authoring the whitepapers you choose to download) for the purpose of B2B marketing and lead generation.

3. Your California Privacy Rights

The CCPA and CPRA provide California residents with specific rights regarding their personal information. You have the right to:

  • Right to Know and Access: Request that we disclose certain information to you about our collection and use of your personal information over the past 12 months, including the specific pieces of personal information we collected.
  • Right to Delete: Request that we delete any of your personal information that we collected from you and retained, subject to certain exceptions.
  • Right to Correct: Request that we correct inaccurate personal information that we maintain about you.
  • Right to Opt-Out of Sale/Sharing: Direct us to not sell or share your personal information at any time. (See "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" below).
  • Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA/CPRA rights. We will not deny you goods or services or provide a different level of quality, unless the difference is reasonably related to the value provided by your data (e.g., access to premium content requires professional data).

4. "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information"

If you are 16 years of age or older, you have the right to direct us to not sell or share your personal information at any time (the "right to opt-out"). Since our core business model revolves around providing free access to premium content in exchange for B2B lead generation data, opting out of the sale/sharing of your data will restrict your ability to download gated, sponsored whitepapers on the platform.

To exercise the right to opt-out, you (or your authorized agent) may submit a request to us by emailing privacy@leadfliermedia.com with the subject line "CCPA Opt-Out". We also respect Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals sent by modern browsers.

5. Submitting a Verifiable Consumer Request

To exercise your rights to know, access, correct, or delete, please submit a verifiable consumer request to us by emailing privacy@leadfliermedia.com. Only you, or someone legally authorized to act on your behalf, may make a verifiable consumer request related to your personal information. You may only make a verifiable consumer request for access or data portability twice within a 12-month period.
